Azerbaijan-Israel Innovation Forum
Organized by the Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (#IACCI), the Small and Medium
Business Development Agency (#KOBIA), and the Analysis and Coordination Center of the Fourth
Industrial Revolution (#4SIM), the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations
of Azerbaijan and Nextstep Azerbaijan-Israel Innovation Forum was held with the support of the
Innovation Center.
Officials from both countries, representatives of various organizations, business associations, higher
education institutions, experts and businessmen took part in the event.
The forum created an opportunity for the exchange of experience between Azerbaijani and Israeli
businessmen in the field of technologies and innovations applied in the fields of education and
agriculture.
Chairman of Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alex Kaplun, Executive Vice-Rector of
ADA University Fariz Ismayilzadeh and Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov
shared their views on the purpose of the forum, Azerbaijan-Israel relations, opportunities for
cooperation between businessmen in the field of innovation.
In the general panel, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Agriculture Inam
Karimov, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Israel Mukhtar
Mammadov and Head of the "Ramat-Negev" Regional Council Eran Doron discussed relations between
Azerbaijan and Israel, in the fields of agriculture, education and science in our country. expressed their
views on the technologies applied in recent years, Azerbaijan-Israel cooperation in relevant fields and
the prospects of expanding relations in these sectors, digital economy, modern approaches applied in
the restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the event, panel discussions on agriculture and education, bilateral meetings
between start-ups and businessmen were held.
